Tatsumi is the first 2D Feature film co-production between Infinite Frameworks and Zhao Wei Films. Directed by Eric Khoo, 'Tatsumi' is a tribute to Yoshihiro Tatsumi - father of Japan’s Gekiga Manga.

Based  on  his  award-winning  autobiography  ‘A Drifting
Life’
, and 5 graphic novel short stories written and illustrated in the 1970’s, 'Tatsumi' "is pretty rudimentary, perhaps deliberately reminiscent of the Japanimation of the period in which it's largely set" as quoted by Variety.com (Thurs, May 19, 2011). The movie began production late in 2009, and was completed in Spring 2011.

Cahiers Du Cinema rates Tatsumi as ‘one of the most anticipated movies of 2011’. Tatsumi premiered at the 64th Cannes International Film Festival as an official selection in ‘Un Certain Regard’ (only the 13th animated movie selected in the festival’s 64-year history). It was also in official selection at this year’s Annecy International Animation Festival.
